How Recruiters and AI (Artificial Intelligence) Will Work Together

The world is changing to align itself alongside technological advancement globally. In the contemporary world, automation is a critical aspect covering major areas of life.  

The world of business is embracing the technological wave in running their organization. In particular, recruiters are streamlining their function with artificial intelligence as a way of enhancing efficiency.  

The debate on the impact of technology on human beings is never-ending. However, recruiters are welcoming the change, claiming that it eliminates the challenges faced in the traditional recruiting method.  

Recruiters and AI can work together to ensure the right candidates land a job without any misunderstanding. This is a work in progress whereby software engineers design different models of enhancing the AI strategy. Whereas the process of choosing the best candidate will be done automatically, the process will present a challenge in how the applicants will embrace the novel technology. However, this will be a setback in the initial stages only, as the applicants will have to learn how to align their applications to suit the innovation. Therefore, the AI will be acceptable among the candidates over time.  

AI works with recruiters to analyse the information of the candidate and help choose the most suited individual. Using the intelligence of the machine, the data on the applicants’ resumes can be scanned as a way of eliminating the undesirable cases according to their data. This process is enhanced by the AI software that offers greater diversity in selecting the suitable candidate.  

Currently, the recruiting system is inefficient, in that it is faced with inaccurate results. It is impossible to choose the best candidate manually when applicants are so many, and this limitation makes traditional recruitment ineffective. Once an employer calls for an application for a vacant post, millions of applicants offer their resumes for consideration. Among these applicants, a few are shortlisted for physical interviews, and the best candidate is chosen from this crew. The rest never get replies, with most companies disclaiming that lack of a reply means the candidate was not successful.  

However, recruiters can eliminate this challenge by working with the AI system. The software can consider each candidate irrespective of the number of applicants made. This way, each candidate has an equal chance of being chosen. The system selects applicants according to a set of qualifications, and this eliminates human error and partiality. Thus, the accuracy and validity of the process are enhanced, making the recruiting process fair and credible.  

Further advancement in AI involves the creation of a conversational interface whereby the recruiters have a chance of asking the software questions. This implies that any doubts can be addressed before the recruiters make the final decision. Consequently, the human face of the recruiting process will be in place for the final stage. This implies that the recruiters work with the AI system rather than being the sole proprietor. Human resources managers will have to learn the art of using this system to make their work easier and more credible.  

In brief, AI has several benefits in creating credibility in the recruiting system. Organizations that will embrace this technology will have the upper hand in the industry, as the system will enhance their reputation as a credible environment. Moreover, the enhanced efficiency indicates that the best candidate will land the job, making delivery of services better in the work place. The recruiters will not lose their jobs either because the human element is still present in the new process. For instance, recruiters can conduct interviews with AI generated top-candidates to choose the best candidate physically. Moreover, the conversational interface of AI helps eliminate doubt in the system.
